(2) EARLY GERMAN CARVED CHURCH PANELS
Similar Oak Panels, 15th c., both with applied carved walnut figures of Saints, one of a bearded man in blue and red painted robes, is of Medieval era; the second figure is a bit later, an early Renaissance gilt walnut figure of a female Saint, both missing their hands, 11 3/4" & 10 3/4" tall, on 19" x 10" panels. The edges replaced on the latter, wonderful age wear and patina.
