(2 Pc) Pair of Tiffany Glass Sconce Lamps

DESCRIPTION: (2 Pc) A Pair of Tiffany art glass sconce lamps. The shades in iridescent Tiffany Favrile glass with gold iridescence are engraved with signatures "LCT" (Louis Comfort Tiffany) and "Favrile". The two light arms metal sconces have a gloss bronze finish patina. Louis Comfort Tiffany (February 18, 1848 - January 17, 1933) was an American artist and designer who worked in the decorative arts and is best known for his work in stained glass. He is the American artist most associated with the Art Nouveau and Aesthetic movements. Tiffany designed stained glass windows and lamps, glass mosaics, blown glass, ceramics, jewelry, enamels, and metalwork. He was the first design director at his family company, Tiffany & Co., founded by his father, Charles Lewis.

CIRCA: Early-Mid 20th Century.
ORIGIN: USA.
DIMENSIONS: Shades are H: 4" W: 3 3/4" Bottom width: 2 1/4". Metal sconces (without shades) are: W: 11 1/2" H: 6" D: 9".
