THE CAR OFFERED
At the time of its release, the Corniche was the most expensive Rolls-Royce on offer, with a base price of $359,900. When the last Corniche was rolled off the production line in August 2002, it marked the end of Rolls-Royce manufacture at the Crewe factory, which would henceforth only produce Bentleys. When production ceased in 2003, a total of only 374 Corniches had been built.
This drop-top Corniche V is one of 374 produced and was delivered new to the USA and presents today as it was delivered new in the stunning and iconic color combination of old English white over tan. Today the car is still accompanied by its service and handbooks and presents in fantastic condition.
According to the accompanying CARFAX® report, this fabulous Rolls-Royce Corniche V has had just five owners from new. The car appears to have spent the first years of its life entirely in California. From there it spent time in Oregon, Texas and Florida before returning back to California under its current ownership. At the time of cataloguing the car covered less than 9,650 miles. Among the final proper Rolls-Royces to emerge from the factory at Crewe, this 2000 Corniche V holds a rightful place in the history of this great marquee and is ready to be enjoyed by its next custodian.
