2003 BMW M3

[ translate ]

Chassis No.

Chassis No.: WBSBL91010JP86333
Documents: German Fahrzeugbrief

Hailed as one of the most handsome and engaging driver’s cars of its era, the third generation Ulf Weidhase-styled E46 M3 is a modern classic whose star is on the rise.

The example offered here was desirably specified in BMW Individual Estoril Blue Metallic—a stunning shade that harks back to the car’s E36 M3 forebear—over an Anthracite Impulse Cloth and part-leather interior. It was further specified with a six-speed manual gearbox, electric memory seats, an M Sport steering wheel, M rear spoiler, glass sunroof, CD changer, and Xenon lights. The BMW was delivered new to Germany via BMW Cuntz Speyer and was first registered for the road on 12 May 2003.

The accompanying service book notes an undated service stamp from Canarioalemana de Automoviles S.L. of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain when the odometer read 21,476 kilometres. The car received an oil change and Inspection II service on 28 March 2022, this time from BMW Group Classic in Munich following its repatriation to Germany; the odometer reading was then noted as 48,911 kilometres. Later that year, on 11 October 2022, the BMW was acquired by Sportautohaus Schusterschitz prior to being supplied to the consigning owner three days later. While in their care the M3 was subject to an oil service on 16 May 2023, which was carried out by Schusterschitz. At the time of cataloguing the odometer reads 51,350 kilometres.

Such quality examples of BMW’s celebrated E46-generation M3 are becoming thin on the ground; this car’s rare Estoril Blue Metallic specification only adds to its appeal.
