This 2005 Volvo C70 T GT Auto Convertible is described by the vendor as being in good all round condition. The car is part of a bereavement sale as it was owned by the vendor's brother, but unfortunately he passed away last year leaving several cars. He bought this Volvo as an investment, and owned the car for 5 years with 1 former owner.
2005 is the last year that Volvo produced this model of the C70 before the facelift version. It is fitted with a transversely mounted 2.3-Litre 5-cylinder double overhead cam engine, with a turbocharger with intercooler. It is front wheel drive, with a 5-speed microprocessor-controlled automatic gearbox, 4-wheel power-assisted disc brakes with anti-lock braking system (ABS) and electronic brake distribution (EBD).
The car has had a none stop MOT since new, the latest which expires at the end of September 2022 (conducted by Volvo main dealer). The 'advisories' have been completed, new front tyres, new brake servo and exhaust bracket welded. However, since then it has been sitting without any use. The electric roof is said to work well. The car has relatively low mileage for the year, and has six service stamps until 51,000 miles.
Original optional extras include; ski hole and case through rear seats, SC-901 Premium Audio System with Dolby Pro-Logic® Digital Surround Sound, Multi-CD changer, brushed aluminium inlays, 17" alloy wheels (£900 upgrade), central wind guard for when top is down (£250), and a space-saver spare wheel with jack.
The vendor advises that there are some areas on the car that may require some attention. There is a small dent on the driver's door, a small dent on the driver's side rear wheel arch, and the nearside window switch has recently stopped working. The convertible top has a small hole that has been patched up, however it is watertight and the hole did not penetrate through to the second layer.
