Cette 997 GT3 Cup fut livrée neuve au talentueux pilote Anthony Beltoise en 2008. La voiture est alors engagée en championnat Porsche Carrera Cup France sous la bannière du Team Sofrev ASP avec le n°7. A l'issue des sept épreuves de la compétition, Anthony Beltoise décroche le titre pilote à son volant. La liste de toutes les interventions effectuées sur la voiture ainsi que des courses auxquelles elle a pris part a été établie par Sofrev et figure au dossier. Entre 2008 et 2012 la voiture ne fit que quelques séances de roulages. C'est en 2012 que son actuel propriétaire, pilote émérite, en fait l'acquisition. Il a conservé cette bête de course dans son jus, ce qui lui confère une patine particulièrement attachante. Sa configuration d'aujourd'hui est donc très proche de celle de 2008, ainsi que le confirme le passeport FFSA. Depuis son achat il a pris part à plusieurs courses privées dont certaines organisées par Porsche Motorsport. La boîte de vitesses a été remise à jour en 2012, suite aux modifications apportées par Porsche sur le modèle. En mars 2018, il a fait procéder à un contrôle et une révision générale dont s'est chargé Stephane Doga, mécanicien en charge de la voiture en 2008. Totalisant seulement 9990 km d'origine et dans un bel état d'usage, cette 997 Cup a bénéficié de tout l'entretien nécessaire pour permettre à son futur propriétaire d'exploiter à son tour toutes les capacités d'une telle machine à palmarès.

This 997 GT3 Cup was delivered new to the talented racing driver Anthony Beltoise in 2008. The car was then entered as number 7 in the Porsche Carrera Cup Championship in France wearing the colours of Team Sofrey ASP. At the end of the seven rounds of the competition, Beltoise was crowned champion in this car. The list of work carried out and the races it took part in, compiled by Sofrey, can be found in the file. Between 2008 and 2012 the 997 GT3 Cup only had a few outings. The current owner, a well-respected driver, bought the car in 2012. He conserved the race car as it was, with its highly evocative patina. It remains in a very similar configuration to how it was in 2008, as confirmed by its FFSA passport. Since the purchase, the owner has taken part in several private competitions including those organised by Porsche Motorsport. The gearbox was updated in 2012 following modifications made by Porsche to the model. In March 2018 the car was inspected and serviced by Stephane Doga, the mechanic who was in charge of the car in 2008. With just 9990 km from new and in lovely, used condition, this 997 Cup has benefitted from all the maintenance required to allow its future owner to enjoy the full potential of a race-winning machine.
