Vigneto: Il vigneto Villero, esposto a sud/sud-ovest, è ubicato nel comune di Castiglione Falletto ed ha una superficie di poco inferiore ad un ettaro. L’età media dei ceppi è di 43 anni e la densità è di 4. 000 piante per ettaro. Nella vendemmia 2012 la resa in vino è stata di circa 52 ettolitri ad ettaro. La raccolta 2012 è stata fatta il 2 Ottobre. Suolo: moderatamente argilloso e compatto con presenza di marne bianche e bluastre. Vinificazione: Dopo la fermentazione alcolica durata 21 giorni in vasca d’acciaio ad una temperatura compresa tra i 28 ed i 32 gradi centigradi ill vino viene subito travasato in piccole botti per lo svolgimento della fermentazione malolattica, al termine della quale trascorre l’ulteriore invecchiamento in botte di rovere da 27 ettolitri.
