La primavera del 2016 è iniziata nel Chianti Classico all’insegna del bel tempo, favorendo un anticipo del germogliamento, cui hanno fatto seguito temperature più fresche nei mesi di maggio e giugno. L’estate, fino alla fine di agosto, è stata generalmente calda, asciutta e priva di picchi di calore: condizioni ottimali per il perfetto accrescimento delle uve. I mesi della raccolta sono stati regolari, con alcuni eventi piovosi alternati a lunghi periodi di sole e ventilazione, che hanno consentito un processo di maturazione ideale per le tre varietà presenti nel vigneto Tignanello. In piena sintonia con l’annata, Tignanello 2016 si presenta alla vista di un rosso rubino intenso, mentre al naso note di frutta rossa matura si uniscono a piacevoli sentori di mora fresca e frutti di bosco. Delicati e perfettamente integrati gli aromi di vaniglia, cioccolato amaro e leggere spezie. Al palato è vibrante, con tannini setosi e raffinati. Equilibrato ed intenso con finale lungo, complesso e persistente. Perfetto da abbinare a spaghetti al ragù di carne e risotti al tartufo e funghi delicati, è ideale per accompagnare formaggi stagionati e secondi piatti di selvaggina.
