Il 2018 ha richiesto molto lavoro in vigna. I forti contrasti climatici dell'anno infatti sottopongono la vigna ad una primavera piovosa, seguita da una forte pressione crittogamica. La bella estate finalmente si stabilisce a luglio, con sole fino a ottobre. La raccolta inizia il 18 settembre e termina il 10 ottobre con uve magnifiche, ogni varietà giunta a perfetta maturazione. Risultato di un blend di Cabernet Sauvignon (72%) e Merlot (28%) , Château Lynch-Bages 2018 offre l'espressione di un grande rosso di Pauillac. Alla degustazione, presenta una veste intensa e profonda, mentre il bouquet aromatico evidenzia la purezza del frutto. Il sorso avvolge il palato per la sua rotondità e la sua ampiezza, essendo strutturato da tannini presenti e perfettamente integrati. Il cru persiste a lungo in fine di bocca.
