2019 Porsche 911 GT2 RS Clubsport

[ translate ]

Chassis No. WP0ZZZ99ZKS197145
Following the release of the standard street-legal GT2 RS and track-only 935, Porsche introduced the limited edition GT2 RS Clubsport. In 2018, Porsche increased their production of GT2 RS street cars to eliminate speculation on new models while also satisfying customers who desired limited editions. To that end, Porsche created the track-only 935, limited to 77 examples. While the 935 shared the GT2 RS's unibody and engine, it had several significant differences such as a stripped-out interior, integrated roll cage, BBS light-alloy forged center-lock wheels, integrated air jack system, plastic windows, 115-liter safety fuel cell, and carbon fiber bodywork.
All 77 935s were sold within days, leading to a flood of requests for more. As a result, Porsche committed to producing 200 GT2 RS Clubsport racing specials that were largely identical to the 935, except for the bodywork – and the price. The GT2 RS Clubsport had a carbon exterior, but lacked the slantnose front end, vertical intakes, and longtail rear section of the 935. It was also significantly less expensive than the 935, with a price difference of $351,000. Two-hundred GT2 RS Clubsport cars were delivered to customers eager to hit the track.
This GT2 RS Clubsport was purchased by the consignor in August 2022 and features just under 1,500 kilometers (950 miles). Small, racetrack-based modifications made to the car under previous ownership include the addition of an AiM Smarty Cam and Solo 2 dash, as well as a MYLAPS timing transponder. When new, this GT2 RS Clubsport was eligible to compete in the Yokohama Drivers Cup USA, a race series featuring modern Porsche factory race cars and together with Porsche Motorsport North America (PMNA), cars of its type debuted in a “Time Attack” championship during Labor Day weekend 2022 in conjunction with Porsche Sports Car Together Fest at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. The car is sold with both main keys, spare parts, assorted tools, Porsche Motorsport technical binder, and a factory-fitted car cover.
