2.33ct Antique Vintage VICTORIAN DIAMOND Pendant

A graceful and gorgeous original Victorian Diamond Drop Pendant Necklace, Circa late-19th century.
Centering on almost 1.50carat ( 1.33ct ) Old European-cut diamond, certified by EGL USA as L color VS2 clarity. The diamond is very light yellow under a powerful diamond grading light with a 10x loupe and faces up very well and looks warm white in natural light with no hint of yellow at all. Very Bright, Shimmering from every angle and VERY CLEAR diamond.
It radiates from the center of a sparkling double halo of numerous small antique old cut diamonds, together weighing approx 1.00carat and would equate to diamond quality: SI Diamond Color: I-J in modern Diamonds.
This sizzling diamond pendant, containing almost 2.50ctw of dazzling white diamonds will light up any room.
The length is 1 inch, the diameter is 3/4".
The weight is 4.38 grams.
Crafted in silver over 14k rose gold ( tested), the heavily oxidized silver lends a dramatic and effective contrast to the bright-white diamonds.
Made in Europe, most likely Austria-Hungary or Imperial Russia.
The pendant is shown on a later thin 14k white gold 17 inch chain for a less formal style. The bail is large enough to accommodate your favorite chain or cord.
The condition: Very little wear to the setting in the form of minor abrasions and knicks to the metals. Center diamond is in good condition with no bruising or chipping to the girdle. All wear would be consistent with age and use.
