Condition Report: Unlined canvas. Four approximately 1 x 1 inch patches applied to reverse of canvas in upper half of the work. Minor frame abrasion at left and upper edges. Extremely faint craquelure. Mild surface dust. Not examined out of frame.
Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. Apparent strengthening applied to dark tones of the shadows on the architecture. An approximately 2 x 1 inch area of retouching to the center of the large shadowy areas in the buildings at left, coincides with one of the patches on the canvas reverse.
