3 WWI TRENCH ART SHELLS WITH DECORATIONS
3 Brass shell casings. One has been intricately hand tooled and decorated with a floral pattern and "REIMS 1919" on it and stands approximately 9" tall with a fluted top for flower arrangements. One is adorned with floral scroll separately applied, and a medallion depicting Cathedral de Reims, and the name of the town "REIMS" on a scroll, and stands approximately 8" tall with a fluted top. The last one is approximately 9" tall and is hand carved with a pair of shaking hands, the words "Souvenir Bailleul" (where part of the Battle of Lys took place) and a floral pattern. All show original patina and light age and handling wear. Excellent.
