Incredibly fresh and adorned in sparkling luster, both the mintmark and assayer, as well as the date, remarkably legible and virtually fully struck, the '171' being fully visible and the bottom half of the '3' digit showing just before the flan becomes beveled. In addition to being desirable for its superb condition and visible date, this offering comes as only a one-year variety, exhibiting a styled Cross of Jerusalem on the reverse.
