Argentinian artist, Betiana Pavón, She currently lives in Barcelona, where she graduated in Fabricademy Program, at Fab Lab Barcelona - Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia, which studies the incorporation of new materials, bio-materials and technologies into the textile industry.
Creator of the "Alaska Accessories" brand, her project is focused on revaluing and adapting the traditional millinery trade to a contemporary environment and wearers. In this context of communion between art and design, she has won and been recognized in the ffollowing international competitions:
- Deconstructive Heads by Alaska, winning project of the “Samsung EGO Innovation Project" presented in Mercedes Benz Madrid Fashion Week 2019.
- RADIORATOR Project, by Agustina Palazzo, Betiana Pavón and Mateus Sartori, achieved the third prize of the “Reshape” Contest, Smart Product Category, Barcelona 2019.
- AURORA CAP Project, by Ana Correa and Betiana Pavón, for which the prototype was selected in the “Digital Made” Contest and was presented in Rome at the Fashion Digital Night, Altaroma Fashion Week 2019.
