4 Japanese Ceramic Figures
Four Late 19th Century Japanese Ceramic Figures. Including 2 small bisque figures of dogs seated, 1 glazed white dog in recumbent position, and 1 glazed white seated waving cat. No markings, but the largest dog has a Christie's label verso. Light wear overall, the dog in the begging position has a chipped paw and rough base, the cat has some crazing, minor wear to other pieces. Up to 5 3/4" high. ESTIMATE $200-400 The largest dog was purchased from a Christie's auction, item #331, in July of 1980.
