Four (4) English sterling silver hollowware pieces, including one (1) creamer with tall C-shaped handle, beaded rim, cabochon and foliate design, and plinth base, hallmarked for Hester Bateman, London, 1823, to underside of base; two (2) plates with scalloped rim, engraved crown and squirrel with motto "Tenebo" to the rim, and engraved bird above "Childs" to underside of rim, hallmarked for Charles Wright, London,1782, to underside of bases; and one (1) sugar bowl with ribbed body and two handles, hallmarked for William Hutton and Sons, Ltd., London, 1900. Ranging in size from 3" H x 5 1/2" W x 2 7/8" D to 9 5/8" dia. 41.725 total weighable troy ounces.

The Estate of Edith (Edie) M. Bass, Nashville, Tennessee. Most of the items from her estate in this auction were by descent from her parents, Walter Paul McBride and Claire Childs of Lake Forest, Illinois.
Condition Report: Creamer in overall good condition with minute surface scratches. Plates with surface scratches commensurate with manner of use. Sugar bowl with scattered surface pitting.
