(9) French Porcelain & Faience Plates, Luneville

(9) French porcelain and faience plates, including (6) Luneville French faience plates w/ flowers, dating from between the 18th and 19th century and predominantly in red; and (3) chinoiserie themed porcelain dishes: a) green and white porcelain bowl decorated in the Chinese style; b) blue and white faience plate, marked with an axe on bottom, and c) reproduction Veuve Perrin plate signed VP on bottom with Turkish men in the well.

Dimensions are: each faience plate measures 10 inches dia X 1.125 inches tall; the other three pieces measure a) 10 inches dia X 2.25 inches tall, b) 9.125 inches dia X 1 inches tall, c) 10 inches dia X 1.25 inches tall. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: All (6) faience plates have glaze pops, as well as stilt marks. All plates have scattered frit chipping, largest area measuring 3 1/2 inches long X 3/8 inch wide. One plate has a staple repaired break, measuring 8 1/2 inches long, as well as an area of restoration, 4 1/4 inches long X 1 1/2 inches wide. One plate has wear to decoration in well (see images). Of the chinoiserie items: All pieces are free of breaks or cracks. a) Has restoration to edge 1.25 inches long X .25 inches wide. b) Back has stilt marks and scattered frit chipping on edge, largest 3/8 inches long, c) small chips to edge, largest .125 inches long.
