A 17thC walnut Corpus Christi, mounted on a 19thC ebonised wooden crucifix, the Southern Netherlands, H 62 cm
Added: a small figure of a female martyr, holding a palm branch in her hand, carved in boxwood, the Southern Netherlands, 17thC, H 28 cm
Condition: The Golgotha with the skulls in good condition. The arms of the Corpus mounted. Some wormholes all over the body; otherwise in good condition as well.
The martyr lacks the right hand and the base shows some cracks (part of the feet is missing).
Otherwise in good condition.
