A 1980s 18ct gold, diamond and enamel compact. The curved square-shape black enamel case, with brilliant-cut diamond and gold thistle motif, opening to reveal the powder and mirror lid. Personal engraving relating to Chanel, 1989. Maker's mark for Goossens. Estimated total diamond weight 0.50ct. French assay marks. Length 7.2cms. Total weight 217.1gms.
Condition Report: Overall condition good. Some surface scratches in keeping with general age and wear.
Enamel has a slightly pitted/matt surface. Surface scratches and very few, minor, deeper scratches.
Diamonds bright and well matched.
Individual size and setting of diamonds prevents accurate colour and clarity assessment.

Interior retains most of its powder.
