A 19TH CENTURY GARNET BANGLE, the 25mm wide hinged bangle, set to centre with a round garnet cabochon, collet mounted with rope twist border, surrounded by a band of smaller garnet cabochons with reeded decoration and outer rope twist border, set to reverse with glazed memorial panel, all in unmarked yellow metal (tests as approx. 14ct gold), with concealed box clasp, 30.8g, inner diameter 54mm
Condition Report: Centre garnet has surface rising inclusion and minor abrasions nearby. Very minor split to collet mount but still secure (not eye visible). Hinge and clasp both good. Minor dent to edge of upper half, near hinge. Reverse of central panel has small dent and small split. Minor surface abrasions and polish marks throughout.
