A 19th century Austrian cold painted bronze study of a green parakeet, perched upon a shell, the bronze base with applied gilt bronze dolphin, and circular foot with egg and dart moulded decoration to its outer edge, 7.75" (19.5cm) high.
Condition Report:
Parakeet has wear and losses to paint, has distortion to tip of tail. Shell has crack with some chips and losses to edges, the shell is a little loose in the base with signs of previous glue fixes.
