A 19th century unmarked Sheffield Plate mounted coconut cup, probably Indian Colonial circa 1850
Bulbous form upon a domed coconut foot with turned wooden stem. The rim mounted with silver engraved with foliate scrolls. The body carved with a figure of a lion all within large foliate forms and peonies emanating from a fluted urn, the foot with flute edge and chip carved inner border.
