A rare exhibition quality 7 ¼ inch gauge model of a H15 Class London South Western Railway 4-6-0 tender locomotive No 486, built to the original design by Robert Urie with copper boiler with cab fittings including regulator, water sight-glass, pressure gauge, direction control wheel, firebox door, lever operated cylinder drain cocks and many other fittings, safety valve, clack and whistle. The chassis with twin outside cylinders, Walschaert's valve gear and fluted motion. The eight-wheel double bogie tender with coal compartment, water tank covers and coupling. The model finished in traditional green and black lines livery with L S W R to tender side and No 486 to cab-side, fitted steps, handrails, couplings and detailed rivet-work. Overall length 252cm. Cab width 35cm.

The model is sold together with a floor display stand.

* The original full-size locomotive was designed by Robert Urie and built at the Eastleigh Works Circa 1914 with a total of 10 being built at Eastleigh having Schmidt super-heaters. They were used for mixed traffic work and withdrawn from service between 1955 and 1961.
