the first of flattened-triangular section, stamped '1030/1347', the second with wavy double-edged blade of pattern-welded iron, and long tang, the third with stout blade of diamond section, decorated with silver on each face, and faceted iron hilt decorated with silver flowers and foliage; the fourth with slightly curved blade double-edged towards the point, and faceted hilt overlaid with sheet silver (incomplete); the fifth with pattern-welded blade, carved wooden hilt, in its painted scabbard; and four further daggers
