The coffer top with central sliding panel enclosing a well, hinged above a case inset with copper panel portrait miniatures and enclosing a well.
height 12in (30.5cm); width 18in (45.5cm); depth 13in (33cm)
Condition Report: Timber of an overall deep chestnut color. Central panel to top appears almost black - possibly later stained. With hole to edge of molding of sliding panel. With a 2in. area of infilled restoration to left front corner of top. Interior lacking divides and lock. Copper portraits possibly earlier in date. Surfaces dark and worn. General marks, nicks, scratches, cracks, rubbing and wear commensurate with age. No key. Lacking divides to interior.
