the domed cover surmounted by a finial formed as a draped putto, standing holding a flower basket, applied with trailing flowers, leaves and tendrils, painted in colours, with gilt border to cover, underglaze blue W, the cover with Pressnummer 2/90, the vase incised 2/90/6

Condition Report:
Overall of good appearence but in need of a little restoration. Scattered chipping to the leaves and flowers of the cover and a minor chip with associated glaze crack to the rim of the cover, and a faint stress crack to the interior of the cover below the finial (possibly part of the manufacture). The cover overall in good order. The vase has a stress crack aroubd the circumference of the body which is about one third of the way up the body. Notable scattered chipping and losses to the leaves, flowers and stems with two flowerheads detatched (one is attahced tothe vase with a wire, one flowerheads and part of a leaf are loose).
