A Burmese copper alloy Buddha Jambupati. 19th century

Seated in meditation on a high, stepped and trapezoidal pedestal, the right hand hanging down in bhumisparshamudra, the left placed in dhyanamudra above the feet; on the head a high crown with several serrated lappets and with large openwork ornaments extending wing-like to both sides. Weight 2.36 kg.
