A CARVED AND PIERCED GILTWOOD WALL MIRROR LATE 17TH OR EARLY 18TH CENTURY 60cm high, 50cm wide Condition Report: Marks, knocks, scratches and abrasions commensurate with age and use. Old splits and chips (see images). Some old repairs to pierced elements of frame (see images). Frame has been re-gilded at some point. Gilt with the expected cracks, chips and some losses. Mirror plate and backboard are old replacements. The mirror plate has some depletion and various small losses. Some minor evidence of old worm to back.
