A CARVED INK STONE WITH A FITTED WOODEN BOX
China, late Qing Dynasty (1644-1912). The ink stone of oval shape, carved in high and low relief with clouds and ruyi pattern, with a fitted hardwood box of a dark chocolate brown hue.
Condition: Good condition with visible traces of use, small chip to the grinding surface as well as small reparation to the rim of the wooden box.
