China, late Qing dynasty (1644-1912) to Republic period (1912-1949). Finely carved with a good, compact form, depicting two smiling boys washing an elephant, the translucent stone of a pale celadon tone with patches of russet and cloudy white inclusions.
Condition: Very good condition with minor wear.
