A CHINESE BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN EWER, SHIPWRECK ARTIFACT, ARTEMIS LEAF MARK, KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722), of short bottle form with an everted serpentine spout on a cylindrical neck, enclosing palm leaf and ribbon-tied whisks bands centering a raised band of undulating leafy vine, applied to side with a scrolling "S" form handle ending on a lappet panel ringed shoulder, over bulbous sides with pointed arch reserves of a noblewoman holding a floral bloom while strolling through a fenced garden, alternating reserves of various auspicious flowering plant filled jardinieres, verso underglaze blue artemis leaf. Height: 10" Diameter: 6"
