A CHINESE DOUBLE GOURD BLUE AND WHITE PORCELAIN VASE, SHIPWRECK ARTIFACT, LEAF MARK, KANGXI PERIOD, EARLY 18TH CENTURY, of double gourd form and a flaring circular rim on a cylindrical neck with exotic long leaf banding, over a rounded knob with sides centering fan shaped reserves enclosing an ancient pine in a fenced garden opposite a weeping willow in similar garden, above a larger bulbous base with fan form reserves each painted as a traditional maiden in varying pursuits set within a fenced garden, raised on a conforming flaring foot with leaf tip detailed banding enclosing an underside with underglaze blue Artemis leaf mark. Height: 10" Diameter: 5 1/2"
Condition Report: Good condition for shipwreck artifacts including but not limited to surface encrustation, hairline crack, areas of glaze degradation, dirt buildup and a few light surface abrasions.
