From the late Ming dynasty, with profuse underglaze blue and white decoration on a fine porcelain body. The central medallion depicting deer under a pine. The border in a series of cartouches with motifs of flowers, foliate and insects. The underside marked with a stork or heron.
Wanli Period (1573-1620) circa 1620.
