A CHINESE WHITE-GLAZED OCTAGONAL JARLET Song - Yuan Dynasty 宋至元 白釉八棱小罐 Potted with gently-curved edges to form an octagonal body, supported by a thin, cylindrical foot and surmounted by a short, gently-tapering neck, covered in an ivory-white glaze suffused with a fine network of crackles, the unglazed base with a collection label that reads 'No.385. f A.K.V.', 7.6cm high - PROVENANCE: Property of a French Private Collection formed in Hong Kong during the 1960’s-1980’s; Previously in the Collection of the late Mrs. A.
