Japan, Meiji to Taisho period (1800-1920)
The baluster-shaped vase, worked in silver wire and colored enamels to depict flowers on a midnight blue ground, the petals executed in ginbari. The rims and underside are of silvered brass.
HEIGHT 18 cm
Condition: Very good condition. Abrasions to silvering and a small, hardly visible surface scratch.
