The baluster-shaped cloisonne vase with a narrow neck and flaring mouth, beautifully decorated with silver wire and colored enamels on a midnight blue ground depicting a flowering maple tree with wisteria, above a dense composition of irises and other flowers. The rim and foot ring with geometric borders, applied with gilt copper and with a maker's mark to the underside.
HEIGHT 15.3 cm
Condition: Fine condition with few surface scratches, surface wear to enamels, and a small loss to the upper part of the backside.
