comprising his orders to various naval captains, given from H.M.S. Thames (1807-1811) and H.M.S. Volontaire (1811-1815), during these years he was almost constantly engaged in the Mediterranean in attacking the enemy’s coasting trade, in destroying coast batteries, or in cutting out and destroying armed vessels, and listing the duties of various officers (First Lieutenant, Officer of the Watch, the Purser, the Surgeon and others), with a large amount of blank paper, contemporary vellum, 9⅛ x 7½in. (23.2 x 18.7cm).
Waldegrave was made Vice-Admiral in 1851.
