A Charles II silk embroidered panel, c.1660-70, with a courting couple walking two dogs, surrounded by Cupid to the right side, a parrot to the left, a carnation, sun, church and houses, in a later frame, 16.5 cm x 23cm Provenance: With Avon Antiques, December 1989. According to the invoice, formally in the collection of D.S. Fredrick Richmond estate, on loan until recently to the Victoria & Albert Museum. The Geoffrey and Fay Elliot collection.
