A Chinese Celadon Vase ‘meiping’
The rounded body tapering to the raised foot, with short neck and slightly flared rim, covered overall in a pale green glaze pooling to a thick green iridescent colour at the in-turned foot and thinning to white at the mouth rim, the base glazed pale celadon and with an underglaze blue six-character mark of Yongzheng. Probably mark and period of Yongzheng (1723-1735). Height: 24 cm.
