A Chinese Longquan celadon dish, Ming dynasty, thickly moulded with a barbed rim and conforming shallow well loosely incised with a leaf scroll design and a floral leaf design tot he centre, the exterior walls incised in a lotus and leaf scroll pattern, the green glaze applied everywhere except on the recessed base, 33.5cm diameter
Provenance: From a private collection, purchased by the current owners father between 1960 and 1970, reputedly from Bluett & Son.
