A Chinese Ming style 'palace' bowl - Blue and white - Porcelain - Yongzheng Mark and Period - China - Yongzheng (1723-1735)

The blue and white porcelain Ming-style ‘palace bowl’, Yongzheng mark and of the period, 1722-1735. Made after the famous Chenghua model, which only nine examples are known. The interior and exterior are delicately painted with stems of scrolling day lilies. 'Palace bowl' were quite small, presumably to the exacting taste of the Chenghua emperor. The offered example was made during Yongzheng reign. Similar bowl from Yongzheng period - Rob Michiels auction, April 2019, lot 1313, sold for 4335 EUR. Provenance: private collection, Vienna, Austria. Conditions: small chip with hardly visible hairline (c. 2 cm) towards footrim, small chip/fritting to the top-rim. No other damages visible. Dimensions: height - 4,5 cm, diameter c. 9,3-9,5 (not perfectly round) . Weight - 71 g. We deliver to China and Far East with Austrian Post.
