A Chinese Robin’s Egg- Glazed Vase, Meiping
Of slender baluster form, the tall sides rising from a slightly spreading foot to a wide shoulder, set with a short narrow neck with everted rim, a pair of raised elephant head and loop handles to the shoulder, the Robin’s egg pale celadon glaze mottled in pink to create a lavender hue covering the whole body and foot, apart from the foot ring. Period: 19th century. Height: 19 cm.
