A Chinese blue and white on celadon ground vase, decorated with the Three Immortals paired with Fu lion handles. A Chinese iron-red vase, decorated with Buddhist lions, the reverse with a signed text, the handles Fu lion shaped, 19thC, H 59 - 60 cm
Condition: The blue and white on celadon ground vase:
- bottom crack
- a crack to the left side body ~15 cm
- the usual baking flaws, such as a blown glaze bubble to the decoration
Otherwise, no further remarks regarding the condition
The Chinese iron-red vase appears in our opinion in good condition, except for some minor firing flaws:
- two underglaze firing faults at the top rim
- some usual glaze loss at the Fu lion handles
