A Chinese famille rose plate, circa 1820. Finely painted depicting figures in an interior with a terraced balcony view enclosed by a border enamelled with butterflies amongst flowers and concentric gilt banding. The reverse bears the iron red overglaze painted six character makers mark of Jiang Zhenglong in zhuanshu script enclosed by a turquoise glazed ground with four equidistant bats to the border. 7.6 in (19.3 cm) diameter.
Condition report: Excellent condition with very light wear to the gilding and enamelling.
