A Chinese silver tankard, probably late19th century, of ovoid form, profusely chased and decorated with Chinese Warriors, Scholars and other Chinese characters within pavilion and garden settings, with shield shaped cartouche to upper main belly inscribed 'H.B. from [a Chinese signature]', C-scroll dragon, floral and foliate handle, raised on circular stepped foot with pierced band above, gilt interior, 'LW' and script mark for 'Luen Wo' Shanghai, to underside, 5¼in.
