A Chinese stoneware Cizhou 'Juluxian' bowl, Song dynasty, circa 1100, the deep rounded sides rising from a short slightly-flaring foot, covered in a white glaze suffused with russet-coloured craquelure, 19cm diameter Note: According to historical records, the Yellow River flooded Julu County, southern Hebei province, in 1108. Cizhou ceramics were plentiful in the area, and were buried beneath the iron-rich silt, resulting in the distinctive brown-red crackle found on many of these pieces.
品相報告 Condition Report: Restoration to the rim. Firing flaw to the base. Pitting and surface wear to the glaze, with some areas around the rim where the glaze no-longer covers.
