A Continental, probably French, gilt metal and glazed plafonnier loosely in Orientalist taste, second quarter 20th century, of stepped hexagonal form, the upper gallery cast with circular apertures above a moulded frame inset with opaque glass panes and cast with berried and foliate mounts, suspending a conforming terminal; the interior with three light fitments, mounted to a metal plate, 46cm high overall, approximately 54cm diameter

Condition Report:
Gilding marked, knocked and scuffed overall with slight oxidisation to the interior edges. Vertical casting seams visible to some of the frame. One pane cracked. Glass a little dirty overall, and could benefit from a clean.
