A Diamond Brooch/Pendant, circa 1910, an old cut diamond centrally within a border of smaller old cut diamonds, to eight radial arms each with an old cut diamond terminal and alternating with further diamond set sections to create a quasi-circular frame, with a detachable diamond set pendant bale, total estimated diamond weight 2.50 carat approximately, measures (as a pendant) 3.1cm by 4.0cm see illustration
. The brooch/pendant is in good condition. It fastens with a pin and cage catch. It bears no hallmark nor stamps, but it has reasonable heft and in our opinion could possibly be platinum. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour I/J/K, clarity SI1/SI2/I1. Gross weight 7.2 grams. CR made 06.12.19.
