A FINE ANTIQUE SAROUK-FERAGHAN RUG, WEST PERSIA approx: 6ft.11in. x 4ft.3in.(211cm. x 130cm.) Beautifully design rug with lattice containing various multicoloured floral sprays and trees. Unusual for this type. Very good colour combination with soft ivory field. In terracotta border of bold floral vine between light blue floral meander and plain stripes. This rug has touches of wear to the top pile, barely visible, otherwise, good pile. Ends with short fringes, secured. Selvages original. Fine weave, approx: 6 x 6 knots per sq. cm. In general this rug is in very good condition throughout. Attractive piece.
